Best Rechargeable LED Headlamp Review

The Observer Tools Rechargeable LED Headlamp is the best headlamp I have used so far.

This headlamp is super bright with a 500 ft (152 m) beam distance.

I took the above photo while hiking Uncompahgre Peak, a Colorado 14er, during the winter at 4 am in complete darkness on a wooded trail and the headlamp gave me plenty of light.

What I really like about the headlamp is the variable light intensity dial and motion sensor.

Especially while wearing gloves, I can easily change the light brightness as well as turn it on and off without having to find and press buttons.

Turning the headlamp on and off is super easy, especially when wearing gloves.

The headlamp is also very comfortable to wear. I’ve worn headlamps in the past that eventually start to feel uncomfortable or move around a lot and constantly need readjusting.
